2017 Summer Reading: Top Picks

When summer rolls around, there's nothing I love more then heading to the beach for a few hours to unwind from the everyday grind (after I've gotten all my work done, of course). I can finally put my self-tanner away, and attempt to get some color on this pale-shell that I call my body. Another thing I absolutely love about heading to the beach? S U M M E R  R E A D I N G. It's almost as if I reserve this specific time of the year to get in as much literature as possible. Why do the best books come out in the summertime? And really, are they the best books? Or do we just feel obligated to read something because w'ere on the beach?

Where did the beach-book frenzy even originate from?

I have some questions about it, but none the less + just in time for the weekend, here are my top picks for this summers hot weather reading! I'm already half-way into All The Missing Girls, and oh my god -- if you're a fan of The Girl On The Train, pick this one up for sure.

Or any of them, really.
