Bryant Park's 2nd Barefoot Ball Is Happening This July

For my entire stint of living in Midtown, I lived just steps away from Bryant Park. There's a common theory between New Yorker's that Central Park is essentially our "backyard", however, it was always Bryant Park that I would find myself gravitating towards if I was looking for a place to get outdoors. Situated on 6th Avenue between 42nd & 41st Street, you may not immediately think ~relaxation~ given it's very busy location, however once you step foot inside the park, it's like you've escaped to a different part of the city. People lounging in the grass catching a tan, or quietly sitting at a table while enjoying their lunch, Bryant Park has always been, and will always be, the place that I go to when I want to sit back, relax, and observe the little world around me.

2017 marks 25 YEARS since this little safe haven of mine was restored back to be the beautiful place that it is today, and to celebrate, the park is throwing a HUGE soirĂ©e on July 26th called the Barefoot Ball. Hosted on the main lawn, the Barefoot Ball is an outdoor bash where shoes are optional and outfits are stylish. With three different ticket options, you can choose to be a Barefoot Baller, a Barefoot Boss, or spend the night in your own private lounge when you purchase the Barefoot Bungalow pass (limited availability).

Each ticket tier comes with an open bar, food options (food is included in VIP tickets), event activities, and a special performance by none other than Hip-hop legend GRANDMASTER FLASH! Yessssss, THEE Grandmaster Flash

The 2017 Barefoot Ball will truly be a night to remember, with proceeds from ticket sales going towards supporting the 1,000+ free annual events hosted by Bryant Park. Be sure to purchase your tickets ASAP, and experience this one-of-a kind, ULTIMATE summer picnic with me!

I'll meet you at the park under the stars.
