Sparkling Apple Sangria

'Know what I'm in the mood for? A big fat cocktail that screams the word fall loudly into my face. Something that sends ~fall vibes~ surging through my body and makes me remember why this season is so. freaking. awesome.

Apples. I want something with apples. And alcohol.

Which reminds me, we went apple picking the other day, and got, like, 671 apples, so how was I not going to utilize them for the weekend? Are you mad? Have you lost your noodle? Of course I was going to. It was only a matter of time before I made some sort of alcoholic concoction with them, after eating 2 or 300 of them first, of course.

Let's get drunk on Fall this weekend.

Sparkling Apple Sangria

1 750ml bottle of Chardonnay
2 bottles of IZZE Sparkling Apple
2-3 fresh apples, sliced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Slice your apples and then squeeze on 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Toss everything together until apples are mostly coated.

Combined white wine and IZZE Sparkling Apple into a pitcher, then top with the coated apples. Give it all a good stir, then evenly distribute into glasses.

Happy Fall!
