Jalapeño Margarita

You know what I think you need today? A jalapeno margarita. One with lots of salt on the rim and just enough zing to make you think it's Friday, but then realize it's only Tuesday, but hey, margarita ammiright?

Think of today as Boozeday-Tuesday, and treat yoself.

Jalapeño Margarita

makes 1 full medium sized pitcher:
4 cups tequila (I used Sauza)
2 jalapenos, sliced and siced
2 cups fresh lime juice
1 cup simple syrup (or sour mix)
additional jalapenos (or limes) for garnish
salt for rim

Add your diced jalapenos to your tequila and set aside for 3-4 hours. This can also be done the night before, especially if you like it extra spicy. Combined jalapeno tequila with lime juice and simple syrup and give it all a good shake. Pour over ice in glasses that have been rimmed with salt. Garnish with jalapeno slices or limes and enjoy!
