The answer to that is no. No, you would not.
You know we take our noodle (and pizza!) eating very seriously around here, so we had to throw up a new lo mein recipe, jam packed with our favorite stir-fry veggies and this amazing ginger sauce!
You won't want to eat anything else!
1lb Lo Mein Noodles (cooked)
1 1/2 - 2 cups Mixed stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, carrots, onions, scallions, snow peas)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1 small piece of Ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Sesame Oil
Prepare lo mein noodles according to the package and set aside. If using pre-made noodles, add them to a colander and rinse under cold water until they come apart. Set aside.
Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to a wok or skillet on medium high heat. Add your vegetables and stir-fry until tender, about 4-5 minutes. While the veggies are cooking, whisk together all of the ingredients for the ginger sauce until sugar is dissolved and everything is incorporated.
After 4-5 minutes, add noodles to the skillet along with the sauce. Toss to coat everything and cook for an additional minute or two. Enjoy!
