Spicy Potatoes (Patatas Bravas)

Okay, okay. We promise to start cooling it with the spicy recipes. This is our last one! Promise! (our fingers were crossed.)

These potatoes came about after trying a similar dish that I completely fell in love with at a local tapas joint. I'd totally share the name of the restaurant... if I remembered it. -_- 2-for-1 sangrias, ya'll. 2-for-1.

If you need to spice up your life, and not with the Spice Girls, definitely give these potato babies a try!

Spicy New Potatoes In A Spicy Tomato Sauce

1 1/2 lbs New Potatoes, sliced in half
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
fresh cilantro for garnish

Preheat your oven to 450. In a bowl, combined potatoes, olive oil, cayenne powder, paprika, chili seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat the potatoes in the rub, then place them in a single layer onto a greased baking sheet.

Roast potatoes in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until cooked through. Toss potatoes in the arrabbiata sauce, and garnish with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
