holiday outfit ideas under $150

Whether its holiday drinks with your girlfriends, dinner with your folks, or meeting "the family" for the first time, the holiday season is the time to bring out your best self!

Its also the best time to break your wallet. I mean, when are you ever really going to need that red and green glitter dress again? Or that ugly sweater?

If you've ever been in a holiday rut, here are three fool proof outfits that can take you from holiday party to birthday bash with very little tweaking!

1) Family. You've always been their little girl, but now you're your own woman. Choose an outfit that says "I'm an adult now, pass the wine!" without showing too much skin, yet still keeping it fun.

2) Friends. Grabbing cocktails or dinner with your best girlfriends? Maybe attending a "Friendsgiving"? Pick an outfit that is suitable for wherever you end up, yet keeps you comfy throughout the night. A lace dress paired with a statement necklace is the perfect set to carry you from drinks at the bar to a late night stop at the club. (and of course 3am Wendy's on the way home!)

3) Meeting the folks. You're in a new relationship and things just got serious. He asked to take you home for the holidays to meet his parents. Whoa - huge step! Congrats! Now what to wear? Keep it classy. A simple, black cocktail dress and some jewelry to dress it up will show a fun, glamourous side to you that will break the ice with his sisters, as well as show your man his family party is important to you. P.S help his mom with the dishes!
