Food and the City: thai peanut pizza Yum

thai peanut pizza

This pizza is so... weird. But so good. My mind doesn't know how to register it but my heart says please give me more.

In fact - I'm actually eating the leftovers of this as I type. Pizza leftovers. Thats a rarity.

I've been seeing thai pizza's everywhere lately and I just had to try it out for myself. It would have been so unbelievably amazing if I had had chicken to throw on top of this, and make it like a 'chicken satay' pizza, but of course I didn't have any on hand. Whyyyyy would I, amiright?

So anyway - this pizza was surprisingly delicious, and I'm thinking you should probably make it this weekend.

Or today. Today works, too.

thai peanut pizza

1lb pizza dough
2 tablespoons peanut sauce
1/2 bell pepper, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
1 tablespoon chopped peanuts

Preheat your oven to 420.
Roll out your pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet and top with sauce, bell pepper, red onion, and mozzarella cheese. Cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Remove and top with cilantro, green onions, and peanuts. Return back to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

Slice up and enjoy! Xx M
