get the party started: girls night entertaining tips.

Guuuuuuuuuuuuys. Summer is almost over. Sad face, right? I think we need to have one more summer girls night before its all over. Lets plan a girls night together, shall we? Right now? Cool.

I attended an amazing girls night hosted by Sauza® tequila a couple of months ago, and you may remember my 'behind the scenes' post that gave you a small insight into what went down. As promised, I can finally share with you the video that we shot that day. It was such an amazing time with equally amazing people, and I'm so honored I had the opportunity to be apart of it.

About the cocktail we sipped on: Sauza® Sparkling Margaritas in their 3 flavors, Wild Berry, Lime, and Mango Peach!  Its like, a margarita spritzer. Except not. And its amazing.

Also to note, these babies are ready.to.serve. Hello easiness, + not to mention saving $$ on mixers. We're young 20 somethings. We need all of our cash for shoes.

So, in honor of Sauza, and the awesome time we had together, I want to share with you some key pieces for throwing the perfect summer girls night!

shop: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8

1. its all about that bar cart: bar carts have been making a huge boom in the home decor scene for some time now. my favorite thing about showcasing a bar cart, is that you can change up the style and decor based on each occasion. for a girls night, adding some bright colored glassware paired with equally bright straws is a great way to add some zing to your night! be sure to stock your cart with Sauza Sparking Margaritas to sip on the whole night!

2. lighting: lighting is one of the first things someone notices when they walk in the room. i love paper lanterns for indoor and outdoor parties. pick up a few sets in different colors + different sizes to keep things interesting.

3. color block your decor: i love color blocking my serving tray. investing in a bright, patterned serving tray is rule # 8576 in the book of entertaining. not only do the most important parts of a party (drinks and snacks) sit on it, you can add some glam beverage napkins in a color that pops to add a subtle color blocking effect.

4. snack, duh: sweets are major at a girls night, so make sure you have a batch of cupcakes sitting on a cute cake stand for your besties to munch on while sipping on some Sauza and scanning fashion mags!

Be sure to check out Sauza® Sparkling Margaritas, and let me know which one is your favorite!! You may want to sample them 3, 4, maybe 10 times. Its ok. No judging here.
