cinnamon chips.

welcome to another installment of "pinterest is a beautiful thing". it really really is, and i am so so addicted. viciously addicted, to the point of no return. my house is now one big trap of glue guns and glitter.

not that it wasn't before.

I stumbled upon this recipe the other day and knew i haaaad to make it. not only is cinnamon one of mr. d's favorite flavors of all time, cinnamon always makes me excited for fall and now i'm officially excited for fall.

please leave, summer.

cinnamon chips

2 flour tortillas
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/8 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

preheat the oven to 350. mix together your lemon juice + melted butter. set aside.
in a bowl combined sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. lay out your tortillas on a flat baking sheet, and brush both sides of each with butter. sprinkle your sugar mixture onto each side making sure to generously coat. bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

allow chips to cool for a few minutes, then slice each into pieces.
