"Pigs" in a Blanket

I think New York had thee best Memorial Day weather in all of Memorial Day weather history. It was perfect. Not to hot, not to cold, just right in the middle.

Plus, my friends and I had the best Memorial Day BBQ everrrr so obviously I'm being biased here.

Remember when I told you about how my friends and family always request that I bring these to any function we may be having? Yea, same goes for pigs in a blanket. Its like, I can't even leave the house without having a tray handy just in case I run into someone and they are all like "where are they?" - And then I have to be all like "Its Thursday, not Memorial Day."

Except it was Memorial Day, so guess what I made?

Yup. You guessed it. Pigs in a Blanket.

The best part? They only take two ingredients. Puff Pastry, and some Beef Franks. A friend of mine has a gluten sensitivity, so the Hebrew National Hot Dogs were the perfect choice to use for these.

If you've never had a pig in a blanket before, you are seriously missing out. Not only are they like, thee best thing to make for a BBQ, but everybody loves them.

So I think you should make them. Now.

Pigs in a Blanket

1 12oz package of Hebrew National Beef Franks
1 sheet of Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry

Preheat your oven to 400.
Roll out your thawed puff pastry sheet, and cut evenly into 14 squares. Set on a greased baking sheet and fold each pastry into a triangle (corner to corner).

Remove beef franks from the packaging and cut each one in half. One by one, place a frank on the edge of your puff pastry triangle and roll up, securing the ends tight.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until puff pastry is golden and franks are cooked through.
