Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Debo had the best thursday ever last night. Like, thee best thursday ever. Only in his little doggy dreams would he imagine that something he oh so patiently (..waited for me to drop something) watched me bake would end up on the floor just for him to eat. It was like... a little puppy miracle.

Cookies just for him? Crazy tawlk.

Oh, and also a bonus... humans can kind of eat these too. I mean if you're into that sort of thing or whatever. In reality, the ingredients are pretty much those of something we would eat.. so.. yea. Take that with a grain of salt.

Also p.s - this recipe makes.. like.. 30 freakin' dog treats so you're saving money here people. Please be your doggies superhero tonight.

(i mean really with that face? i can't. ^)

Peanut Butter Dog Treats
2 cups flour (all purpose, whole wheat, whatever you have on hand)
1 T baking powder
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup low fat milk

Preheat your oven to 375. Mix together dry ingredients in 1 bowl, and wet ingredients in another. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and combined.

Kneed the dough on a floured surface, then roll it out with a rolling pin. Use whatever cookie cutters you have on hand (the only non christmas ones I had were triangles but debo didn't seem to mind), and cut out your shapes. Add the treats to a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

Allow to cool completely before giving one to your pup!
