Cheesy Herb Bread Sticks

Oh hi.

So I've been MIA for a few days. Sorry sorry, but I was hangin' in Boston with Mr. D for the weekend getting inappropriately inebriated and talking with a really horrible imitation of the Boston accent. Instagrams can be seen here, here, and here. But - before I left, I made these extremely awesome bread sticks and I'm thinking you should probably make them for breakfast today.

Kidding. Lunch, I meant.

Oh and I was supposed to put this post up yesterday per my usual schedule, but, you know... since I have the attention span of a 4 year old, obviously all of the shiny things on Forever 21's website had me well occupied.

I promise I'll find some sort of medication to help me with my issues. Until then, I'll just medicate with some wine. And sprinkles. Oh, and breadsticks.

Cheesy Herb Bread Sticks

1lb Bread or Pizza dough
1 cup olive oil
1/4 T Dried Basil
1/4 T Dried Oregano
1/4 T Garlic Powder
1/4 T Black Pepper
1 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese

Roll out your dough into a circle or the closest thing to it. In a bowl combined olive oil, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper to form a thin paste. Spread the mixture evenly over your dough, then sprinkle on your mozzarella cheese. If you have some mixture left over, feel free to spoon it on top of the cheese.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until dough is cooked and cheese is brown and bubble. Slice into  sticks and enjoy!
