Caramelized Beer Bacon

Do I even have to say anything?
Booze + Bacon. I mean cccc'mon.

This post in particular was a killer for me since I gave up bacon years ago. For me, it was just one of those foods that would alllllllways make me feel kjkfjkjdjh after I ate it, so naturally, bye bye bacon. It was one of the worst days of my life.

And well seeing as its officially super bowl season, obviously you need to shove all things football in your face while you still can. Plus these have caramelized beer on them so I mean, really?

So when I saw the Huffington Post talking about it, obviously
I couldn't control myself and made it right away.

You're wasting too much time already. Go make this.

Caramelized Beer Bacon

Bacon (I only used 4 pieces)
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Beer (I used Coors Light)

Mix together your brown sugar and beer. Whisk it well to combined.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and preheat your oven to 400. Place bacon slices on the pan and cook in oven for 10 minutes. Remove, and brush on your sugar/beer mixture. Flip each piece over and coat the other side. Return to the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes.

Allow to cool and firm up a bit more before serving. Perfect for game day!
