Spicy Grilled Chicken

This may or may not come as surprise, but the idea of plain ol', boring grilled chicken just doesn't do it for me. Over the years I've tried to come up with a marinade of sorts that would knock me off my feet and forever change the way I felt about grilled chicken. I'm happy to report to you all that I think I found it.
Its one of my favorites and I got two head nods out of Mr. D. And anytime Mr. D gives me two head nods, I know it's a good one.

What is it with men and their head nods?

Combined: Soy sauce, Brown Sugar, Chili Powder, Cajun Seasoning, Basil Leaves, Garlic Powder and Paprika in a ziploc bag. Your measurements depend on how much chicken your cooking and I never really measure anyway so just eyeball it. Place your chicken in the bag and toss to coat. Leave in the fridge for 30-45 minutes.

Preheat your grill to 350 and give it a nice coating of cooking spray. Once heated, place each piece of chicken on the grill without crowding. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through, then aste each piece with a BBQ sauce (or any sauce for that matter) of your choice.
