Food and the City: Hot Chocolate? UM YES Yum

Hot Chocolate? UM YES

I made hot chocolate. Like, the homemade kind. Which was weird actually because I'm that girl that is always knees deep in a SwissMiss box of coco and absolutely refuses to do anything hard or difficult or anything that ends with me having to do the dishes. Why do I have a food blog again?

Oh right.

Ok I'm back. So, yea. I made hot chocolate. The kind with marshmallows and whip cream and chocolate flakes and a cinnamon stick. SERIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE PEOPLE.

It was so delicious, and I really needed to do something with these cinnamon sticks I bought at an apple orchard a few weeks back (P.S MAKE APPLE PIE NOW). Thats me. I buy things and have absolutely nothing to do with them. But how can you deny cinnamon sticks? You can't. Which is why I'll be drinking hot chocolates with cinnamon sticks in them for the rest of my life.

Please make this.

1 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 Cup milk
A dash of Vanilla Extract

Combined cocoa, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Heat it on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent from sticking. After about 1-2 minutes, add milk and vanilla. Mix it all together until warmed to your liking.

Top it with marshmallows, whip cream, chocolate, and any other fattening thing you can think of.
